Maranhao da marcha atrás y respalda el impeachment contra Dilma

Sin dar explicaciones, Waldir Maranhao derogó su decisión de anular el procedimiento de impeachment contra Dilma Roussef, luego de que –según informaciones extraoficiales de O Globo– el partido conservador en el que milita, el Partido Progresista, amenazara con su expulsión.

A pesar de su gran tamaño y sus 200 millones de habitantes, la idea de que Brasil estaba saliendo del tercer mundo resultó ser una falacia. El Presidente del Interamerican Institute for Democracy, Carlos Alberto Montaner, describe la terrible situación económica que se deteriora aún más con la crisis política que atraviesa el Brasil.
