BOLIVIA IN THE SAME DICTATORIAL SPIRAL OF VENEZUELA AND NICARAGUA

Bolivia is a dictatorship since -at least- the supplanting of its Constitution and the elimination of the Republic perpetrated through bloody massacres within 2006 and 2009. The same “Castroist Chavist model”, the same provocateurs and owners of this discourse; the same “anti-imperialist” rhetoric, the same Cuban intervention, the same context and verbiage in their “despicable laws”, the same scheme to construct “narco-states”, in sum; the same dictatorial spiral of the same group of Transnational Organized Crime.

Left Pole Intolerance

Cognitive psychologist Steven Pinker has coined the term “Left Pole” to describe a mythical place where the political Left resides intellectually. Whereas, from the North Pole all directions are south, from the Left Pole, all opinion that does not conform to leftist orthodoxy is intolerantly branded as right-wing politics. President Obama could do no wrong; President Trump can do no right; such is the state of American politics. Those on the Left Pole intolerantly demonize all others as having an avaricious or larcenous human nature.

From Notre Dame to Venezuela: the world weeps

The realization that Notre Dame could succumb brought down the last thread of national pride. The people of France are now left without the spiritual support of an endurance symbol. From the perspective of a Venezuelan in exile Notre Dame’s fire reminded the continuing tragedy of a country that has gone through destruction one time too many. To see Notre Dame in flames is to go through the sorrow of seeing Venezuela burning once again without been able to predict when the current drama that takes 250 lives on a monthly basis is going to end.
